- Username (freely selectable)
Optional information (not required for registration):

For the invoicing of companies additionally:
– Company name
– Company address
– VAT identification number (tax ID)
Additionally collected during use:
– User actions within the software (e.g. surveys, ratings) with timestamp
3. Purposes and legal bases of the processing
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
a) Use of the software and user administration
We require the mandatory data to create, manage and authenticate your user account and for collaborative use of the software.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of contract)
b) Billing and legal obligations
We also process company details to process payments and to create legally compliant invoices, especially for companies.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation)
c) Traceability and collaboration between users
The following data is collected and stored to ensure collaborative working within the software:
– Login times
– User name and timestamp (date and time) when creating and editing content
– User name and timestamp (date and time) for text-based communication between users
– IP address
This data enables secure collaboration between users and allows administrators to identify which user performed which action, ensuring transparency and accountability in collaborative processes. In addition, administrators can use email addresses to reset passwords or send direct messages to users if necessary.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in traceable, secure and effective cooperation in the system).
d) Support and IT operations
Your data may be processed to maintain technical operations in the context of IT support and maintenance.

4. Disclosure to third parties
Your data may be shared only when necessary, for example with:
– Internal IT administrators and support staff
– Technical service providers under data processing agreements
– Payment and accounting partners

If data is transferred to third countries, this only happens in compliance with Art. 44 ff. GDPR and with appropriate safeguards in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Storage duration
Your personal data will be stored for as long as you have an active user account with Trendradar. Once your account is deleted, your data will also be deleted, unless legal retention obligations require continued storage.
In particular, data required for invoicing and accounting purposes may be retained for up to 10 years, in accordance with applicable commercial and tax laws (e.g., § 147 AO, § 257 HGB).

You have the right to:

7. Note on data security and responsibility for content
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data and ensure the secure operation of Trendradar. However, you as the user are responsible for ensuring that you do not upload or enter any data into the platform for which you do not hold the necessary rights (e.g. content subject to third-party copyrights or other legal restrictions).
4strat GmbH accepts no liability for any legal infringements resulting from content uploaded or entered by users.
8. Consent
Use of Trendradar requires your agreement to this privacy policy. By submitting the registration form, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy and consent to the processing of your personal data as described.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting support@4strat.de. The lawfulness of any processing carried out before your withdrawal remains unaffected.
